The VisLab is inviting all those interested in our work and possible collaboration to register for the Open Lab Hours. These drop-in moments are firstly intended to provide time for consultation and advising, where researchers working on conflict/peace can reach out with specific questions related to visualising their research. Consultations can be offered to scholars and practitioners working across social science and humanities, as well as interdisciplinary teams, visualisation experts, cartographers, artists and visual journalists. We provide expertise in critical cartography and map analysis, working with geospatial data, critical mapping and visualisation, visual storytelling and communication of research. Please browse through the Visualising Conflict/Peace pages to gain more insight into our experience and specific formats we work with. We also invite all those who have collaboration proposals for new cases, toolbox materials, exchange or other ideas, to kindly reach out to us.

The registration is simple: you can send us a short email briefly explaining your idea, question or concern to konkoop-vislab@leibniz-ifl.de. We generally offer open hours on every 3rd Thursday from 9:30 to 11:00, but some flexibility is possible in arranging additional moments.
